The venue

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is Western Australia’s only dedicated and purpose-built conference, exhibition, meeting, and event venue and has grown to become an iconic image for the City of Perth.

The venue is linked by an intricate web of transport options via water, road and rail. Many hotels and apartments, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes, retail outlets and entertainment facilities are all located within walking distance of the PCEC.

Visitors are welcomed into a 300-metre long, floor-to-ceiling glass foyer, and all three levels of the PCEC feature expansive pre-function and foyer areas, providing panoramic city views.

By public transport

Free City Transport: There is a Free Transit Zone (FTZ) within Perth City on any form of public transportation at all times. Within the CBD, Transperth CAT buses offer a free and convenient means of getting around the city.

Taxis: Taxis are plentiful in Perth with dedicated ranks available throughout the CBD, major shopping hubs and entertainment precincts. A taxi fare from Perth airport terminals to the CBD is around $43 (approximately 20 minutes one-way). On demand transport providers also operate across Perth.
